Johnson City woman in jail after police find her asleep in stolen vehicle, in possession of drugs

A Johnson City woman is in jail after police say she was found asleep in a stolen vehicle and in possession of drugs. 24-year-old Summer Kelly was arrested after Johnson City Police were called to a reported medical emergency.

According to a police report, officers responded to the call and found the suspect was not in need of medical assistance, but was asleep. During a search, deputies found crack, meth, and drug paraphernalia in Kelly’s possession. Summer Kelly was arrested and taken to the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
