3.5 GPA student at Austin Peay facing 304 gun charges

A student at Clarksville, Tennessee’s Austin Peay University has been arrested for transporting guns to New York’s Lower East Side to sell.

Shakor “Sha” Rodriguez, 23, faces 304 charges connected to his operation which included packing guns then carrying them on bus rides from Tennessee to New York.

Investigators said he sold dozens of loaded weapons to undercover officers while maintaining his 3.5 GPA that earned him a spot on Austin Peay’s dean’s list.
