BrightRidge Flips Switch On Second Local Solar Farm

With a simple flip of a switch, officials with BrightRidge, Silicon and the TVA brought on line the areas second Solar Powered farm. The nine megawatt, Martin Solar Farm in Jonesborough is now generating clean energy on nearly one hundred acres of land purchased from the late Ralph Martin, an area farmer and BrightRidge Board of Directors. Early planning is now underway for a potential third solar farm to be located in Piney Flats.
