Greene County father gets jail time for child abuse related to son’s death in camper fire

A trial set for a Greene County, Tennessee man arrested in connection to his child’s death in a camper fire is off as the suspect entered a guilty plea in Criminal Court.

Robert Inbody was sentenced to two years in prison for the death of his 3-year-old son. The boy’s twin sister also received severe burns in that blaze that occurred off of Woolsey Road. Police reported that Inbody had been operating a welder on the property.

A child neglect charge against the mother of the children has been dropped.
