Hawkins County Humane Society at full capacity, urges public’s help via adoptions and fostering
The Hawkins County Humane Society says it is at full capacity with animals. Officials with the organization say they are a no-kill shelter and are in urgent need of adoptions as well as foster homes.
Since the shelter does not euthanize, this means it cannot accept any more rescue animals until some are adopted or fostered. Officials go on to say they currently have puppies, dogs, cats, kittens, and even a potbelly pig available. The Hawkins County Humane Society urges the public to help their effort, by giving an animal their forever home today.
