Memorial Park Community Center hosting open gym, volleyball days January through April

The Memorial Park Community Center in Johnson City begins its open gym and volleyball days the first week of January. Center officials say open gym will begin on January 3rd, where people of all ages can enjoy a game of pickup basketball or just shoot on their own, weekdays from 3 to 5 PM.

Open volleyball starts on January 5th, where people can try volleyball for the first time or work on their skills, weekdays 6 to 8 PM. Registration is not required and this program is free to the public. Those age 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
