Wise County Authorities Searching For Rifle, Armed, Bandit

Wise County Virginia Sheriff’s Authorities continue their search for a man, shown on a blurry video robbing a Big Stone Gap, Virginia hotel with a rifle. The man described as white, and roughly five feet five inches to five feet eight inches tall, and weighing about 250 pounds, walked into the lobby of the Quality Inn at 4609 Aerial Way in Big Stone Gap Monday evening armed with what appears to be a rifle and demanded money from the clerk, then fled. The lone bandit left the scene in what looked like a dark colored Chevrolet SUV. We have a photo of the suspect on our website.
