J.C. Commissioners Approve Plans For Residential Development At Knobb Creek
To help ease a housing shortage, Johnson City Commissioners approved on second reading a rezoning request that will result in the construction of more than 170 new townhomes in the Northern segment of Johnson City. On Thursday night, despite concerns about traffic congestion from residents in the neighborhood, city commissioners approved on second reading the request to develop twenty two acres of land that sits on Knobb Creek Road. That project is expected to get underway mid 2022.
