JCPD: Investigation reveals 700 grams of meth, psychedelic mushroom grow area in Jonesborough home
Two Jonesborough residents were arrested Wednesday on felony charges after the Johnson City Police Department obtained a search warrant of their home and found a plethora of illicit substances. Linda Adamson and Michael Perez were charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale and maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are sold, among other related charges.
JCPD says in a police report that the arrests stem from an investigation into the sale and distribution of meth from Linda Adamson’s residence. JCPD officers, as well as Jonesborough and Washington County police executed a search of the home on Wednesday. They discovered approximately 700 grams of meth, 1.5 grams of heroin, and a large psychedelic mushroom grow area. Both Adamson and Perez were taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
