Bristol, Tennessee To Decide If Legal Advice Is Needed For Any Potential Landfill Lawsuits Against Bristol, Virginia

The quality of life of Bristol Tennessee residents has been and continues to be adversely impacted by odors emanating from the Bristol Virginia Landfill. Because of that, later today, Bristol, Tennessee City Council members will decide if the City should spend ten thousand dollars to hire a law firm tasked with setting up proper, legal steps for a potential lawsuit being against neighboring Bristol, Virginia over continued foul odors drifting from its landfill. Council will decide if the city could benefit from legal advice if any proceedings should arise as a result of operations of the landfill. Tonight’s meeting begins at seven in the Slater Center in Bristol, Tennessee.
