Bristol Tennessee Leaders, Joining State Lawsuit Against Drug Companies
Bristol Tennessee is about to become the latest local government to join an ever increasing list of municipalities suing three of the largest drug companies and distributors over the opioid crisis and its horrible affects in our region. The drug companies and manufacturers could pay a maximum of 26 billion dollars to local governments including Bristol Tennessee. The money has already been deposited into local governments coffers as local leaders decide how to best spend the settlement funds. Bristol Tennessee City Council is voting on the measure Tuesday night.
