Bristol, Tennessee Council To Consider Hiring Law Firm For Advice On Potential Legal Matters Over Bristol, Virginia Landfill
On Tuesday, Bristol, Tennessee City Council members will decide if they want to retain legal council to set up the proper steps that could lead to a lawsuit against neighboring Bristol, Virginia over its ongoing stinky situation at the city landfill. Council will vote on a resolution to retain the services of Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders law firm to provide legal advice, retain necessary experts, develop strategies, and represent the City in any proceeding arising as result of the operation of the Bristol Virginia landfill. If approved, the council will appropriate ten thousand dollars for those legal fees.
