Johnson City Police Take Convicted Felon Off Streets, On Weapon, Drug Offenses

A convicted felon, is off the streets and faces arraignment after Johnson City Police arrested John C. Cross of Kingsport for being a convicted felon with a firearm, and drug charges. Police discovered Cross in the restroom of a business on Roy Martin Road. A records check revealed Cross is wanted in three surrounding jurisdictions. Police also found a firearm in cross’s clothing as well as an undetermined amount of methamphetamine. Cross is scheduled for arraignment in Washington County Tennessee General Sessions Court and is being held on a ten thousand dollar bond.
