Suspect In Officer’s Death, Reportedly Extradited To Wise County On Unrelated Charges

A suspect matching the description of a man who fatally shot and killed Big Stone Gap Virginia Police Officer Michael Chandler has reportedly been extradited back to Wise County on probation violations out of Wise County and South Carolina. According to a Kingsport Police Department arrest report, 33 year old Michael Donivan White of South Carolina was arrested at a motel in Kingsport Saturday on unrelated charges to the killing of officer Chandler.
