New Bus Route To Washington D.C. Now Being Offered From Bristol

Residents in the region will soon be able to travel by bus from Bristol, Virginia to Washington D.C. with the announcement of a new. intercity bus route along the I-81 Corridor. The Highlands Rhythm route on Virginia Breeze Bus Lines will expand upon the current service along Interstate 81 and will offer daily roundtrip service from Bristol to Washington D.C. A ribbon cutting ceremony is scheduled in Bristol Saturday morning beginning at 930 with representatives from The Department of Rail and Public Transportation along with other city leaders at the Birthplace of Country Music Museum.
