Industrial Park Fire Now Being Investigated As Arson

An industrial structure fire we first reported on Monday morning in the Phipps Bend Industrial Park is now being investigated as a possible case of arson. The Church Hill Fire Department responded to the blaze at Contour Industries and discovered the building engulfed by flames. Now according to the Hawkins County Sheriff’s Department, the TBI is now looking at the fire as possible arson. Video footage pulled from Contour Industries shows an individual lighting an object and throwing it into the building around two o’clock Monday morning. No injuries were reported but the building was destroyed along with a piece of heavy equipment and a computer.
