Bristol Tennessee Man Arrested Following Two State Chase

A Bristol, Tennessee man is jailed after a serpentine chase through Bristol Tennessee that ended in Abingdon on Sunday evening. Authorities in Bristol were in pursuit of Zachary Cross after matching the description of a stolen truck. Cross continued through Bristol and Virginia State Police and Washington County officers picked up the chase near Exit 14 on interstate 81 in Abingdon. Police continued the chase as Cross drove through Abingdon and came out on Porterfield Highway when he exited the vehicle and led authorities on a short foot pursuit before being apprehended. He’s charged with Felony Eluding, Drug Possession, and Reckless Driving.
