Bristol Tennessee Police Earn Top Spot In Statewide Safety Program

Out of 45 police agencies competing, Bristol, Tennessee’s Police Department has been awarded top honors in its campaign to improve safety on city streets. The department was evaluated against others from across the state for policies and programs designed to encourage the use of seat belts, child passenger safety seats and combating speeding and other safety issues. Bristol, also received first place for departments with 71 to 100 officers. The award came from the Tennessee Highway Safety Office’s 17 Annual Law Enforcement Challenge.
