Kingsport City Students Begin Mask Mandate

Students in Kingsport City Schools on Tuesday began wearing masks after BOE members voted four to one in favor of wearing the protection. However, the board also added an opt out form for parents who don’t want their child to be forced to wear a mask while in doors at school. Data provided by the City of Kingsport COVID19 dashboard shows the average of virus cases per day is 30 among the systems facilities.
