2 seriously injured in Kingsport assault, Suspect in custody

Kingsport police are investigating an assault, sending two people to the hospital with serious injuries Wednesday. A man and woman were transported from Sequoyah Drive to a hospital for treatment of possible life-threatening injuries. 3 9 year old, William Clark, of Kingsport, fled but was taken into custody. He’s now charged with two counts of attempted first-degree murder, theft of property over $2,500, and driving on a suspended license. He was booked into the city jail with no bond, pending arraignment. One victim was in critical condition and the other in stable condition.
