2 pedestrians hit in Johnson City

Johnson City Police say two pedestrians were injured after being hit by a car in downtown Johnson City. Officers responded to the call around 7:30 p.m. at the intersection of West State of Franklin and Buffalo Street. The driver was issued citations for failure to yield to pedestrian right of way in a crosswalk and using a mobile device while driving. The two pedestrians were taken to the hospital with suspected minor injuries.
